Pintler Ranger District sells FS maps covering the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest and the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness. They also sell Topographical maps.

Guides:

Qwick Guides sells a nice guide book titled Anaconda and Philipsburg.  You can pick up a copy at the Sunshine Station.

Hiking the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness  is a great little paperback guide for hikes in the wilderness but appears to be out of print. Amazon shows a couple of copies but the price is $40 +

The Montana Wilderness Association has a brand new interactive website to find hikes in Montana with route descriptions and directions to trailheads.

Here is an interesting guide that gives you mile by mile descriptions of many routes through the Philipsburg and Maxville area, and the Flint Range.  Although written for the OHV crowd, this guide is full of detailed information on routes commonly used by bikers.  You can find out where to buy a copy HERE
